Savills is delighted to announce that Craig Marshall, Principal and Director of local North Shore real estate agency Savills Cordeau Marshall, is in the running to take out one of Australia’s most coveted real estate business awards.

Mr Marshall has been shortlisted as a finalist in the category of Principal of the Year Metropolitan, in the nationally recognised 2017 Real Estate Business Awards, partnered by realestate.com.au. He is the only principal from a North Shore agency to make the finalist list.

Savills Cordeau Marshall leads the market, selling more properties in the area than any other agency in April and for year-to-date sales in 2017, and has consistently been number one since 2008. The group operates a full suite of property services, including sales and leasing.

Mr Marshall, whose career in real estate spans over 30 years, is also the head auctioneer for the group, and said he was humbled by the nomination.

“I’m extremely honoured to have made the finalist list, and proud to lead our outstanding group. Our agents are the best in the business, and along with all our support staff continue to work tirelessly for our clients to deliver exceptional results. A key factor that makes a real difference for us is teamwork. We don’t merely pay lip service to this philosophy, we genuinely embrace it – we work together, support each other and share information, insights and successes.”

Tim Neary, editor for REB, said the REB Awards serve to recognise the industry’s most innovative agents and businesses – those who are able to flourish in the face of the industry’s ongoing disruptive challenges.

“The REB Awards are the pre-eminent business awards for the real estate industry in Australia. All of the finalists embody the level of service and dedication that both sellers and buyers have come to expect from the country’s real estate professionals. The REB Awards honour those who are driving the real estate profession to new heights,” he said.

Now in its fifth consecutive year, the Real Estate Business Awards recognises the industry’s leading agents, property managers and office groups – in a process that is transparent, measurable, fair, accurate and unbiased.

The winner will be announced at the ICC on 6th July 2017.
