In a deal negotiated by Jason O’Meara of Savills Sunshine Coast, Lot 7 in the ‘Regatta Lake’ development at 4-6 Innovation Parkway Birtinya was sold with a short-term lease remaining to global company GHD who are soon to move to Maroochydore.

The full floor property features approximately 525sq m of internal net lettable space with an exceptional fit out in place as legacy from the previous owner Rylson Group plus 24 exclusive use car parks. The buyer will soon occupy the space following internal modifications.

The Regatta Lake development is strategically located only 1km from the $2.6 billion Sunshine Coast University Public Hospital and $350 million Ramsay Private Hospital.

“Health developments completed at Birtinya have over recent years generated significant job creation and ripple economic benefits for surrounding commercial businesses, particularly in the well-located Kawana Business Village,” Jason O’Meara said.

The Regatta Lake development was built circa 2005 and features three office buildings, all of three levels. The property is located in the heart of the Kawana Business Village and is easily accessible from both the Nicklin Way and Kawana Way.

Savills are also selling Lot 6 in the development also leased to GHD which provides for another opportunity for an owner occupier in the short term.
