How I Met Your Mother and Buffy star Alyson Hannigan has listed her gorgeous LA mansion with $26.5m (US$$18m) price hopes.
The 1.31ha property is located in the Encino area of Los Angles — an in-demand area in the San Fernando Valley — and has five-bedrooms and eight-bathrooms.

The striking escape has a three-bedroom main house, a one-bedroom guesthouse, a separate gym building, and a three-car garage with an office and bedroom.
A series of concrete, wood and glass pavilions make up the house, with gallery spaces connecting the different areas to create a central courtyard
A tennis court, swimming pool and bocce court feature outside, along with landscaped gardens surrounding the grounds.
Hannigan and her husband, Alexis Denisof updated the landscaping during their time in the home, and the surrounding indigenous trees, sycamores, succulents and orange, avocado and palm trees can be seen from every room, listing agent Michael LaMontagna The Wall Street Journal.

Built in 2001 by the architect Peter Tolkin, Hannigan and Denisof bought the place in 2016 for US$7.95m
The home itself has also appeared in multiple film and TV shows — appearing in the movie ‘Fun With Dick and Jane’ and ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D’, according to the LA Times.

Hannigan and Denisof reportedly added skylights to the main home, along with their outdoor changes.
In addition to the long-running sitcom “How I Met Your Mother”, Hannigan is known for roles in the television series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and the trilogy “American Pie”, “American Pie 2”, and “American Wedding”.

She then reunited with her favourite pals from bandcamp in the 2012 film “American Reunion.”
Mr. Denisof, also an actor, has appeared in films such as “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “The Avengers.”
Mr LaMontagna, of Hilton & Hyland, is listing the property alongside his wife, Alexis LaMontagna.
Mr. LaMontagna didn’t disclose why the couple is selling their Encino compound, but said that they have already moved out.
