Queensland's only sitting independent Sandy Bolton says she won't be relaxing until tonight's results roll in as she faces stiff competition from the LNP's Clare Stewart.
Ms Bolton has comfortably held Noosa since 2017.
She's denied the LNP's suggest that a vote for her is a vote for Labor.
In the last term she voted with the LNP 92 times, and with Labor just 22, she says.
"I'm totally independent," she says.
"I'm not into lies, there's no ties, and I'm not into high rise."
Ms Stewart, former mayor of Noosa, says the seat would be better served by a major party.
"You need someone who is in government, who's sitting at the table, to be your representative, to have that power," Ms Stewart says.
"I hope they vote for the LNP for a fresh start."
