In the wake of the loss to Scotland, the Wallabies did receive some positive news with Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii cleared of injury.
There were fears Suaalii's had suffered a broken arm when forced from the field in the first half at Murrayfield.
But the code hopper was given the green light to play Ireland and he'll take his spot in the centres alongside Len Ikitau.
Inside the last hour, the Wallabies have confirmed reserve loosehead prop Angus Bell has withdrawn due to illness.
Bell's spot on the bench will be taken by Isaac Kailea.
Props James Slipper and Taniela Tupou return to the starting XV, while Jeremy Williams — a late withdrawal before the Scotland Test — has been named in the second row alongside Nick Frost.
Openside flanker Fraser McReight also returns after being rested against the Scots.
On the wing, Max Jorgensen was named ahead of Harry Potter, who scored a try on Test debut in Edinburgh.
On the bench, fly half Tane Edmed has been included and will make his Test debut if called into action.
