A restless toddler has upstaged Queen Elizabeth II at the ceremonial unveiling of the British national Iraq and Afghanistan memorial in central London.
The two-year-old was given the honour of presenting the British monarch with flowers, but instead the boy managed to squirm away from his mother's arms, causing a scene in typical toddler-style.
The young boy, named Alfie, kicked and wriggled, and at one point he even ended up sitting on the ground — much to the displeasure of his mother.
His parents are both serving military officers, but it seems Alfie has a bit more to do before reaching that level of discipline.
The Queen appeared unfazed by the incident and continued with her official duties.
