Gavin McInnes is copping criticism for a strange video blog he posted from Tel Aviv.

THE man made famous in Australia for criticising The Project co-host Waleed Aly has sparked fresh controversy after releasing an apology to a bizarre blog post on the streets of Tel Aviv.

Gavin McInnes’ comments have drawn praise from white nationalist leaders, including the head of the Ku Klux Klan, David Duke, after he uploaded a video titled 10 Thing I Hate About Jews.
It was later retitled, 10 Things I Hate About Israel. It has since received over 100,000 views.

Armed with red eyes, a cigarette hanging out of his mouth and wearing a mesh, white singlet, Mr McInnes appears to stumble throughout the video while listing his problems with the Israeli people. Many believe McInnes is intoxicated as he rants about Israel on the street.

While some say the video was created as comedy, others claim it incites antisemitic rhetoric and promotes hate speech.

“I don’t travel very well, people get on my nerves,” Mr McInnes said as he coughed through his cigarette.

In the bizarre post, McInnes said he’s learned to get “kind of annoyed” by the people of Israel, before launching an attack on why he hates the people.

Issues include “the food sucks”, “you can’t cross the street”, “bad service” and Jews’ “whiny paranoid fear of Nazis that’s making them scared of Christians and Trumps who are their greatest allies.”

He also mocked the Hebrew language describing it as “spit talk”. The “whole language is clearing your throat, it’s like in Gaza, they’re launching little tiny missiles from your mouth onto your shirt,” Mr McInnes said.

McInnes made the video after a visit to Israel for Rebel Media. It was initially published on Wednesday.

After copping criticism for the blog, Mr McInnes launched an explanation in another blog, claiming he was “jealous of comedians because they can hash out ideas that they truly believe, but it’s taken in a very philosophically loose context but we are treated like CNN anchors. It’s frustrating that everyone takes everything you say 1000 per cent literally.

“But it’s also a cop out to say it’s taken out of context.”

In a complete turnaround, McInnes has transformed his reputation from “the godfather of hipsterdom” to a reporter working for Canada’s version of far-right American news site Breitbart, Rebel Media.

McInnes left Vice in 2007 and has consistently supported Trump despite a host of criticism.

Mr McInnes was also forced to release a video explaining himself for a clip released on YouTube during the trip where he apparently minimised the impact of the holocaust.

“No offence Nazis, I don’t like you. Sorry guys, I’m not into it.”

“I wish the Israeli’s would embrace Christianity and Trump more. Love your wall. Love Trump’s wall. It’s very clear where I stand.”

Last month, McInnes was hit by pepper spray after riots erupted at a speaking engagement he was invited to at New York University.

Fights broke out at a protest amid an appearance by the conservative speaker, who school officials say was hit by pepper spray.

Previously known as the “godfather of hipsterdom”, McInnes launched an attack against The Project host Aly claiming he “can’t handle the truth” while criticising him for “blowing up” and “dramatising” his comments surrounding Mr Trump’s unnerving policies on immigration and women.

In a vlog for conservative news site Rebel Media, Mr McInnes described Aly as an “East Indian virgin” and a “retard” and claimed the Logie winner had a “micro penis” in October last year, after Aly criticised Trump’s now infamous p***y remarks which shows Mr Trump verbally demeaning women.

He also described Australia as “hot Canada”.

During Aly’s editorial, co-written with The Project’s managing editor Tom Whitty, the presenter zeroed in on Mr Trump’s now infamous p***y remarks — a 2005 recording — which shows Mr Trump verbally demeaning women; notably, Access Hollywood host Arianne Zucker and Entertainment Tonight host Nancy O’Dell.

“Behind closed doors there is everything that makes our stomachs turn. The predatory nature. The privilege. The sexism. The double standard. The sinister motivation. Behind closed doors, this is what Donald Trump sounds like,” Aly said

In an interview with news.com.au, Mr McInnes predicted Mr Trump’s “landslide victory”, saying, “Trump personifies this sort of freedom to get back to, not literally making America great again, but making America proud of its greatness again”.

“And Australia could do with a f***ing heaping dose of that ... you’ve just got to get your balls back, really.”
