Australia's Patty Mills may have played his last game for the San Antonio Spurs after they were eliminated from the NBA Western Conference finals by the Golden State Warriors in San Antonio.
The Warriors thumped the Spurs 129-115 to sweep the series 4-0, maintain this year's perfect 12-0 playoff win record and book a place in the NBA Finals against the winner of the Eastern Conference finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics.
Canberra-born point guard Mills, at the end of his three-year Spurs contract, had 14 points in the loss but was largely off target missing nine of his 13 field-goal attempts, while the Warriors' Steph Curry was hot with 36 points.
The Warriors have swept all three of their playoff series and are the first team in NBA history to start the post-season 12-0, eclipsing the record established by the 1989 and 2001 Los Angeles Lakers.
They won 27 of their past 28 overall games (including the regular season) and have won six straight road playoff games, a franchise record.
The Warriors will have nine days of rest ahead of the NBA Finals, which begin in Oakland on June 1 (local time).
Aside from Curry's input, Kevin Durant contributed 29 points and 12 rebounds for the Warriors, and Draymond Green added 16 points, eight rebounds and eight assists in the comfortable win.
Kyle Anderson led the Spurs with 20 points, while Manu Ginobili added 15 and Pau Gasol matched Mills' effort, hitting for 14.
