A notorious professional eating machine from New South Wales has flown to Fremantle on a whirlwind trip to take out a hotdog eating challenge, eating four dogs at the sickening speed of one minute and 39 seconds.

Twenty-one-year-old commerce student Isaac H-D signed up to the Wassup Dog Gourmet Hotdogs eating challenge where he stuffed four hot dogs in his face, averaging at 25 seconds per dog to take out the $2000 cash prize.

"Lucky it was a standing challenge...the food goes down a lot more easy if you're standing," he said.

"I was trying to get the head bops going as I was eating the hot dogs, trying to push the food down so I could keep eating."

The commerce student flew into Perth on Saturday at 2pm and was on a flight back home by 11pm as he had to sit an exam on Monday.

"I will add that they were honestly the best hotdogs I've ever had."

"Generally when I'm in these competitions it's a bit of a task to eat the food really quickly, but I could not eat these hotdogs quick enough."

The competitors who came closest to Issac's time managed to do it in around three minutes, almost doubling the champion's record.

It's not the first time he's impressed with his capacity to store food – Isaac has been flown to the US and Japan for various eating challenges.

"In February this year I broke the Guinness world record for dumplings in two minutes,"

"I've done five footlong Subway's in five minutes."

He said he has plans to come back to take other food challenges that WA's.
