The Blues will refrain from slapping a booze ban on their players for future camps despite Blake Ferguson admitting his drinking session with Josh Dugan was an "error in judgment".
Dugan and Ferguson escaped sanction for drinking at the Lennox Point Hotel on the Friday before game three, but both concede it was a poor choice in hindsight. The Blues don't have any restrictions or rules around alcohol consumption during their camps, although a review of all aspects of their campaign is about to be undertaken. However, a Blues booze ban is unlikely to result from the inquiry.

The Bondi boys continued their charge at the top of the table with a comfortable win over Newcastle.
"The review will deal with all issues that arise," NSWRL boss David Trodden said.
"Certainly this is one issue that did arise, but I'd be surprised if it got to the point where we get to blanket bans on anything.
"We trust our guys to behave responsibly and do the right thing and the real solution is not in any blanket bans about things, it's about making sure the people we put our trust in live up to the trust we give them."
Ferguson and Dugan caused headlines for posting images of themselves sinking Bacardi Breezers on a Canberra rooftop. The pair attracted more adverse attention for their latest day out.
"It was an error in judgment," Ferguson said.
"If we had our time again we wouldn't do it. Hopefully we can put it to bed now and we can play some good footy at the back end of the year. Let's talk about that."
One of the media reports suggested at least one of the players had their shirts off during festivities, a claim Ferguson denied.
"We didn't have our shirts off; that's all hearsay," he said.
Asked if he and Dugan were being made scapegoats after another NSW series defeat, the Roosters three-quarter said: "I honestly don't know. It's a 17-man game.
"We didn't play our best in game three and a bit of game two. Hopefully we can win the shield next year and I'm part of the team.
"As I said, there was an error in judgment. At the time we didn't think there was anything wrong with it. Now with hindsight there was something wrong with it because it did come out and it wasn't a good look for the game I guess."
