ONE of Birchgrove’s waterfront properties, Obelia, has sold via private treaty for $5.25 million.
It is the highest Birchgrove sale this year, according to CoreLogic.
The three-bedroom, three-bathroom, three-level home with parking for one car is on 325sq m of land with a prized northern aspect.
It has its own pontoon and is located on one of Birchgrove’s premier streets at 15B Wharf Road.
During the campaign, 120 groups inspected, with all 11 contract holders living in the suburb.
Belle Property Balmain co-principals Monique Dower and Lynsey Kemp negotiated with two parties to secure the sale to a family from the inner west. The vendors are a downsizing couple.
“Wharf Rd is one of the most highly regarded streets on the peninsula,” Ms Kemp said.
