The Halls Head Commercial Centre in Mandurah, Western Australia is beginning to take shape with a number of businesses’ eyeing off its prime retail spaces.

Savills Australia’s Chris Ireland, Chas Moore and Nick Ljubic have been appointed to lease the retail complex located on Rutland Drive, Halls Head and said the first class-development will place retailers in an excellent location.

“The development places retailers amongst the already existing bustling trade precinct with Bunnings Warehouse, Coles, Kmart and Aldi nearby and only 3km from the Mandurah CBD,” Mr Ireland said.

With Bunnings Warehouse trading successfully and more than 50,000 vehicles passing daily, Mr Ireland says the development will attract retail tenancies specifically designed for large and bulky goods retailers.

“The centre will provide 10 to 15 new premium retail tenancies and has proven a draw card to a number of leading automotive, pet and electrical retailers, “ he said.

“The need for a dedicated large format retail centre in Halls Head is proven by the current trade area population of 47,140 expected to grow to 62,000 residents by 2036,” Mr Ireland said.

Cape Bouvard Developments is developing the precinct and construction has started on new roads and underground services. Construction of the main complex is starting soon and retailers are expected to start trading by mid-2019.
