An industrial warehouse located in Sydney’s west has rapidly been snapped up, highlighting continuous demand for solid industrial investments.
Savills Industrial's Mick Ferreri and Joe Trimboli brokered the deal for 14 Vicars Place, Wetherill Park at auction and said the site triggered immense interest.
“With more than 60 enquires received, the public auction was well attended and a suburb record of $3,135/sq m was achieved,” Mr Ferreri said.
Located in an ideal industrial position, Mr Trimboli said the sale was a positive reflection on the amount of interest accumulated for prime positioned sites.
“The functional freestanding industrial facility is on a 1,347sq m site and is highly desired within the Wetherill Park Industrial precinct,” Mr Trimboli said.
The site is in close proximity to Victoria Street, The Horsley Drive, M7 Motorway and M4 Motorway and Mr Ferreri says the site allows easy access to metropolitan Sydney and interstate highways.
“Conveniently located approximately 10 kilometres west of Parramatta CBD and 35 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD, the property is surrounded by a mixture of distribution centres and freestanding buildings,” he said.
The property, purchased for $2.402 million, has a short-term lease back from the current owner occupiers and the purchaser plans to occupy the site upon lease expiry.
