An iconic South Australian nut and confectionary company is set to open another set of doors in the Adelaide Hills region.

Natasha Bertram of Savills Retail Leasing arranged the lease for Charlesworth Nuts at the Mt Barker Shopping Centre, located at 1 McLaren Street, Mt Barker and said this popular confectionary brand will attract local spark.

“Locals are very excited about having this well-known brand closely located and this type of tenancy strengthens the mix of future tenancies,” Ms Bertram said.

Charlesworth Nuts Retail and Finance Officer, Dermott Taylor, is pleased with the new location and says introducing the product range to the hillside location will have a positive impact on the business and community.

“We recognised the fact that we wanted to open a store in the Mt Barker complex, so we are pleased we could get a deal done,” Mr Taylor said.

Charlesworth Nuts has more than ten sites across Adelaide and Ms Bertram said the lease signifies a strong interest and competition among well-established retail stores.

“Having a well-known brand operate within this shopping complex is an indication of the success and growth that the area is currently achieving,” she said.
