Justine Cullen's Texas elopement
When most of Australia was still recovering from Karl and Jasmine’s epic four day wedding extravaganza, former ELLE editor-in-chief Justine Cullen quietly walked down the aisle to wed fiance Hayden Guppy in Texas. The newlyweds were introduced by best friends and matchmakers Hamish Blake and Zoe Foster-Blake.
The now-Jones magazine editor wore a Chloe dress and tan Kit X boots (definitely not cowboy, but a little nod to Texas) and a little dried flower hairpiece made by My Violet and attached to a French tulle veil.
Emerald City understands Justine bought her dress a year in advance, hoping she would fall pregnant by the time the wedding rolled round. And pregnant she is: the mum of three is currently in her third trimester with the fourth child, another boy, due in March. Aside from the kids, only the bride and groom's mothers attended their nuptials, as the couple were keen for it to feel like a real elopement.
Justine’s middle son Iggy, 12, walked her down the aisle with Milo, 14, and Scout, six, in attendance. “Hayden doesn’t have any other children but he’s taken to an instant family like a duck to water (they all adore and worship him) so sure it will all be in his stride.” a rep for the bride confirmed. Previously, Justine was linked to surf journalist Adam Blakey before marrying former Big Brother winner Greg Mathews - better known as one half of the Logan twins from the 2004 season of the reality show.
