Savills Australia is preparing for a bumper new year in Sydney’s commercial sales market, welcoming a new Director to drive the business’ Metropolitan & Regional Sales division.
With more than seven years’ experience in real estate, Nick Lower, a former AFL footballer, joins Savills from CBRE, where he held the role of Senior Manager in the City Sales team, before leaving to start his own business.
NSW State Director for Metropolitan & Regional Sales, Tom Tuxworth, said he was delighted to appoint Nick after previously working with him at CBRE in Melbourne.
“Nick's background working with elite teams, both sporting and corporate, will help our team to implement stronger agency processes,” he said.
“He will be a great asset for the NSW metro sales team, bringing with him a level of professionalism, discipline and structure that will no doubt catapult our team towards our goal of being the most successful commercial team in the state.”
Mr Lower said he was excited to move his family to Sydney for the role.
“Having kept a close eye on the Sydney market for a number of years, I couldn’t help but notice the impact the Savills Metropolitan & Regional Sales team was having across the city,” he said.
“After making the decision with my wife to move back to be closer to family, I wanted to ensure I joined a driven group, one looking to outperform the market and achieve the best results for their clients – there seemed to be only one choice.”
Mr Lower said he thought it was “clear that the team has a clear focus on achieving big things in 2019.”
“My twin brother has worked at Savills in the past and he always spoke highly of the culture and direction of the business,” he said.
“I’m hoping to impart my life and real estate knowledge to help accelerate the growth of the team.”
