Savills Australia is preparing for a bumper new year in Brisbane’s property management market, welcoming a new State Director to lead the business’ Asset Management division.
With more than 10 years’ experience in real estate and more than 30 years in management, Phillip Dunn joins Savills from CBRE, where he held the position of Regional Portfolio Manager for 23 shopping centres across south-east Queensland and northern New South Wales.
In that time, Mr Dunn was instrumental in driving the assets’ net profit and overseeing capital works projects.
“We are delighted to have secured someone of Phillip’s calibre to lead the Brisbane Asset Management team,” Savills Australia’s National Head of Asset Management, Rino Carpinelli, said.
“Throughout his career, Phillip has managed a wide variety of property assets, including shopping centres, hotels and a football club.
“His client-base has included private, government and institutional clients.”
Prior to CBRE, Mr Dunn was a commercial property manager with LJ Hooker Surfers Paradise, where he managed a portfolio of 140 tenants within 20 small and large-scale shopping centres.
“Through his involvement with these properties, Phillip developed a solid working knowledge of managing new tenant fit-outs and building services,” Mr Carpinelli said.
“He has a well-developed business acumen and strong attention to detail, and is skilled in building strong client relationships.”
Mr Dunn, who has worked with major clients such as Woolworths, Target and Big W, said he was excited to be joining Savills Australia.
“I am very much looking forward to working with the team and assisting our clients, and to becoming an extension to their business into the future,” he said.
