The living and dining area.

She said the three-bedroom, one-bathroom house on a 652sq m block represented affordable buying in Highton.

“I think it was just that area being close to the shops and schools, it’s just a good family location,” Ms Andrews said.

She said the attraction was the buyers could move straight in and make their own touches in down the track.

Access to McDonald Reserve is a bonus.

The L-shaped house has an open-plan living and dining area and a smaller meals area off the central kitchen.

An enclosed retreat or study sits off a large deck overlooking the backyard.

The property also comes with a single garage, single carport and large backyard with a gate to the neighbouring reserve.

Highton’s median house price rose 4 per cent to $670,00 over the past 12 months, according to CoreLogic data.
