Jarryd Hayne is selling his Darlinghurst investment property.

Former rugby league star Jarryd Hayne has listed his Darlinghurst investment property with a $2.35 million asking price.

The property is the priciest investment in his once imposing portfolio that totalled $4.8 million on 2013 peak exposure.

The two-time Dally M Medal winner paid $1,585,000 for the two-bedroom, two-bathroom property six years ago.

It has always been a rental property, but with a high turnover of tenants.

It was recently marketed as again available for rent.

Hayne, who is spending the next six months in Perth completing an evangelical mission, was seeking $1100 a week last month.

Last year, and in May this year, he sought tenants at $1350 a week.

It was leased during his ill-fated NFL code-change during 2015 when he called San Francisco home, and when he went to play for the Gold Coast Titans.

The home had been a long term rental for Hayne.

It comes with a $2.35 million price guide.

Our Estates agents Adam Regan and Ellen Trojkovic are marketing the property as “a chic inner city haven.”

The 1890s terrace spans three levels. The top level is dedicated to a master suite, the entry level has a terrace and the ground floor bedroom with its own study opens to a courtyard.

Hayne’s former Paddington home nearby sold for $2.85 million in 2017, almost double the price Hayne had paid $1.13 million in 2013 and then renovated throughout.

He currently retains two apartments in the Parramatta development Koi. He spent $600,000 on an apartment on the 16th floor and $605,000 for one on the 17th off the plan in 2013.

He also retains a Umina Beach cottage he bought for his mum to live in back in 2010. He paid $388,750.
