Former North Melbourne player and committed clubman Frank Goode has listed his Armadale townhouse for sale.
The 79-year-old has shown plenty of shinboner spirit since his playing days between 1961 and 1967; as the president of North Melbourne’s Past Players and Officials Association, he is heavily involved with the Kangaroos.
Goode and wife Christina have listed 10C Avondale Rd with $2.2-$2.4 million price hopes.
Marshall White Stonnington director James Redfern said the couple was ready to downsize.

“They’ve loved the property and maintained it beautifully while living there,” Mr Redfern said. “It’s a big home … packed full of accommodation, with two clearly defined living spaces and a double garage.”
CoreLogic records show the property last changed hands for $1.25 million in 2006.
Goode was leading goal kicker at the Kangaroos for two years before injury forced him to retire in 1967.
He became assistant coach at Footscray in 1981 and even stepped in as senior coach for one game. Goode later joined the AFL tribunal, where he worked for five years.
A listing photo shows a caricature of Goode during his playing days mounted on the wall in the home’s first-floor rumpus room.
The home also includes four large bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The free-flowing ground floor is perfect for entertaining, with a formal living and dining room at the front and a more casual open-plan setting with a fireplace at the rear.
Other features include a parquetry entrance hall, a large kitchen with granite benchtops, and a private brick courtyard.
The low-maintenance gem is scheduled to go under the hammer on October 26.
