Separated celebrity power couple Shannon Bennett and Madeleine West have listed 43 Lansell Road, Toorak, for more than $20m.


Celebrity chef Shannon Bennett and his former partner, actor Madeleine West, have listed a Toorak mansion worth more than $20m after buying it less than four years ago.

In 2018 the man behind Vue de Monde and a regular on TV programs including MasterChef separated from West, famed for her roles in The Wrong Girl, Playing for Keeps and who has most recently has appeared on Neighbours.

A real estate listing this week for the five-bedroom home at 43 Lansell Road intended to be a family home to the pair and their six children comes with a $21-$23m asking price.

Located on one of Melbourne’s most celebrated and expensive streets the property is in the same neighbourhood as the homes of business elites Lindsay Fox, Solomon Lew and John Gandel.

With the high asking price it is one of the most expensive homes to hit Melbourne’s property market in 2021.

Bennett and West bought the home for $16m from millionaire publican Mazen Tabet in 2017, but it was at one stage listed with $20m hopes before West and Bennett made their move.

In an Instagram post Marshall White agent Nicole French said the home was “a spectacular achievement in design curated by Shannon Bennett”.
