Two Brighton properties from The Block’s 2020 season have been listed for rent by renowned property buyer Danny Wallis.
The Melbourne rich lister and IT entrepreneur snapped up three of the five New Street properties with his bold bids in the show’s finale late last year.
Hocking Stuart Belle Property South Melbourne’s Loic Mamet said buyers now had the chance to live in one of the show’s luxury homes without the reality TV price tag.

364 New Street, Brighton, is one of two Block pads up for rent.
The brand-new home was created by contestants Harry and Tash last year.
The house also has a swimming pool.
A glam 1920s-inspired bathroom.
Victorian father-daughter duo Harry and Tash created the 1920s inspired five-bedroom pad at 364 New Street, which has been advertised for $2700 per week.
NSW team Sarah and George’s ‘40s-style five-bedroom creation at No. 362b has also been listed for $2500.
Mr Wallis purchased both properties – which each feature four bathrooms and a swimming pool – for $4m at auction.

“Danny Wallis is a well-known property investor and we are lucky enough to be his investment partners,” Mr Mamet said.
“He always knew that those properties would be used as investments at least for the short term, but if we find a tenant that is willing to take on the property long term that is definitely an option too.”
He said they had already received “a lot of inquiries” and would be “filtering out” those that are genuine and those that might be “Block fanatics” trying to get a glimpse of the properties.

“They are both very low maintenance so they tick a lot of boxes, and they are coming fully furnished with what the contestants have selected, which brings another point of difference to other Brighton homes,” Mr Mamet added.
It comes after Mr Wallis confirmed he had donated his other Brighton Block purchase – the 1930s creation by South Australian contestants Daniel and Jade he bought for $3.8m — to the My Room Children’s Cancer Charity.
