It was love at first garden glimpse for Margot Easton when she first set foot on 20 Amaroo Drive in Buderim.
But it was only after she sealed the deal that a family connection to the property was revealed.
“We didn’t even look inside before we knew we wanted to buy it,” Ms Easton said.
“As soon as I stepped into the garden, I was totally in love with it.”

It was the threatened species of the K’Gari (Fraser Island) wattle that pushed her over the line, with the highly-sought-after wood now featured throughout the home.
“That wattle is almost totally unattainable and we have kept it all because it is just so beautiful and iconic,” Ms Easton said.
And after she had signed on the dotted line, Ms Easton discovered she also had a family connection to the home.
“The original architect was my cousin,” she said.
“This home has been very special to us in so many ways and we will never find another place like it.”
The four-bedroom, four-bathroom abode is eloquently positioned on a half-acre block in Buderim’s northern escarpments and stretches across three carefully curated levels.
Centred around the serene stone infinity pool like a luxurious lifestyle retreat, you’ll be wowed by inclusions such as the bluestone fireplace, wine cellar and private outdoor entertaining area.
“Even if it’s cloudy, the view is spectacular and ever-changing,” Ms Easton said.
“You can see all the way out to Coolum, and you can never be built out because of the parkland below.”
The main bedroom features a balcony overlooking the pool, an ample walk-in-wardrobe and a well-appointed ensuite, with the other bathrooms conveniently located across the house to suit a range of living options.
The centrally positioned kitchen features a huge stone benchtop and walk-in-pantry, with two open-planned living areas nearby for relaxation or entertaining guests.
Wine lovers will revel in the climate-controlled cellar with the designated games room or teenagers’ retreat – perfect for a game of snooker with a waterfall feature backdrop.
Despite feeling as if you’re miles away from the hustle and bustle, 20 Amaroo Drive is just minutes from Buderim marketplace, the local tavern, grocery store, cafes, restaurants, and boutique shops.
Auction is planned through Ray White Buderim for Wednesday 21 December at 6pm.
