A West Australian massage therapist accused of sexually assaulting multiple women has pleaded not guilty to an additional 40 charges.

Bunbury masseuse Anthony Brain, 37, was arrested in November 2023 after he allegedly assaulted two female clients during sessions in October and November.

Prosecutors allege Mr Brain sexually assaulted a 43-year-old woman four times during a massage session.

He is accused of assaulting another 46-year-old woman who had a disability requiring her to use a wheelchair.

Prosecutors indicated in December that more charges were expected to be laid, telling court an additional 25 people had come forward with information after Mr Brain's arrest.

Since then, he has been charged with eight counts of sexual penetration without consent, 26 unlawful and indecent assault and six aggravated assault.

Mr Brain faced the Bunbury Magistrate's Court on Thursday and pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.

His defence lawyer asked for the trial to be set in the District Court.

The magistrate told the court that Mr Brain's bail conditions still apply and he will have a trial listing date in August.

The bail conditions set back in December had several conditions including that he lives in Perth, surrender his passports and avoid working in any massage or therapy jobs.
