Actress and lifestyle guru Gwyneth Paltrow is selling her LA property for an eye-watering $45m (USD$30m) as she prepares to downsize, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The renovated 1950-built home seamlessly blends its original charm with contemporary finishes.

It boasts reclaimed wood floors, intricate patterned stonework, and spacious open living areas. The living room, with its French doors, opens to a lush, verdant backyard.

Realtor reports Paltrow purchased the property in 2012 for USD$9.95m while married to her now ex-husband, musician Chris Martin.

The eight-bedroom, 11-bathroom estate is located in the Mandeville Canyon area of Brentwood, and is believed to be neighbours to Kendrick Lamar, who is said to have purchased an $60m (USD$40m) estate next door.

It is unclear if Kendrick Lamar’s $60m deal gone through but if it closes, it will be among the priciest property purchases in Los Angeles this year.

Gwyneth Paltrow is shedding this property in favour of the Montecito home which she purchased with her husband, Brad Fulchuk, the Realtor reports.

The couple attempted to rebuild the Montecito home from the ground up, resulting with an eye-popping finish.

The famed Hollywood actor starred in Emma and won the Oscar for Best Actress in 1999 for her role in Shakespeare in Love. She has also starred in several Marvel films, specifically the Iron Man franchise as Pepper Potts.
