A woman has been charged with murder after the body of a 62-year-old man was found in a surfboard bag near the New South Wales north coast.
Emergency services were called to a property at Darkwood, about 70 kilometres west of Coffs Harbour, about 7pm on Thursday night, after reports a body was found.
The body was discovered in the driveway of the rural property and a crime scene was established.
Lisa Marie Cummings, 35, was arrested yesterday afternoon at a Nambucca Heads property.
She was taken to Macksville Police Station and charged with murder, which NSW Police said was domestic violence related.
Officers will allege in court that the woman and man were known to each other.
Ms Cummings appeared at Port Macquarie Local Court and was denied bail. She will return to court on Monday.
