Jeremy Renner is ready to say goodbye to his “forever home” in Los Angeles where he recovered from his near-fatal snowplow accident in 2023.
The Marvel star has listed his Laurel Canyon estate for $US12.9 million ($A18.9 million).
According to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), The Avengers actor snagged the six-bedroom home for around $US4 million in 2012 and spent nearly $US5.5 million renovating the property.
The 53-year-old said that when he purchased the home, it looked very much as it did when it was originally built in the 1960s, joking that there were “all these little Star Trek-looking buttons, all the stuff that was kind of cool and high-tech in the 60s.”

The Oscar nominee said he was originally drawn to the home’s unique architecture and the close-knit neighbourhood.
“You typically don’t get a lot of neighbourly love in Los Angeles,” he told the WSJ. “This was a wonderful little micro-community.”
According to Realtor, the property boasts a gated driveway, home theatre, guest house and recording studio where he has recorded several songs about his near-death experience.
The main bedroom features many luxuries including dual closets and a luxe bathroom. Outside the home, there is also a pool with a spa, plus bridges and waterfalls.
Despite designing the estate to be his “forever home”, Renner said he’s ready to let go of it in an effort to downsize and “focus on his recovery” following his accident.
Last year, The Hurt Locker star was run over by a large snowplow when trying to save his young nephew from being crushed near his holiday home in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
The actor was in intensive care with 38 broken bones, a collapsed lung and significant blunt chest trauma.
After time spent in the ICU, multiple operations and learning to walk again, Renner was able to return to work on the third season of Mayor of Kingstown.
After wrapping up the latest season of Mayor of Kingstown, the star has decided to focus on new projects, including working on a book about his near-death experience and recovery.

Renner has become quite the property mogul around Hollywood.
He has a real “hawkeye” for spotting a great real estate deal because the cashed up actor has made a mint buying, fixing up and flipping homes in Tinseltown.
Before making a name for himself in film, Renner was buying and renovating property in Los Angeles.
What started as a side hustle with his business partner and fellow The Hurt Locker co-star Kristoffer Winters has become a multimillion-dollar affair with more than 20 homes flipped to date, including his mother’s house in Modesto.
The biggest Renner flip on record was a mansion in Holmby Hills he sold in 2013 for $24.95 million.
A single-level mansion sitting on two acres, it has six bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, five fireplaces, a theatre, multiple pools and fountains throughout the property.
Renner purchased the pile for $7 million back in 2010.
