The man who murdered Gold Coast woman Kelly Wilkinson has denied he told anyone he planned to kill her, during testimony at his co-accused's trial.
Bradley Bell is on trial in the Supreme Court in Brisbane, accused of being a party to the murder of the 27-year-old in April 2021.
The jury has already heard that, shortly after they separated, Brian Johnston repeatedly stabbed his wife then set her on fire at her Arundel home.
Prosecutors have alleged Mr Bell, who was Johnston's colleague, knew that Johnston wanted to kill Ms Wilkinson and aided and enabled him to do so.
It is alleged he did this by buying the fuel Johnston used in the attack and taking him to her address to carry out the murder.
On Wednesday, Johnston was the final prosecution witness called to give evidence.
Johnston was not questioned by the Crown, but under cross examination Mr Bell's lawyer asked him some brief questions.
He told the jury that he was suffering "tremendously" from mental health issues at the time, was suicidal at work, and that his colleagues were aware.
"Oh yeah everybody knew," he said.
Johnston accepted he killed Ms Wilkinson but told the jury, "I don't exactly remember the details."
"There was a lot of it that is very blurred," he said.
He told the court Mr Bell drove him to the vicinity of Ms Wilkinson's house but denied ever telling him he was going there to murder her.
The trial continues.
