Following the success of Halcyon Rise, Stockland has launched Halcyon Vista and Halcyon Edgebrook, two new land lease communities in south-east Queensland's burgeoning Logan region.  

Targeted towards those over 50, the two new communities provide a total of 479 low-maintenance and turnkey new homes to the area.

Halcyon Vista is a boutique community located in Logan Village and comprises 161 homes, and homeowners can expect to move in early 2025. Halcyon Edgebrook is located nearby in Eagleby and includes 318 homes, with homeowners expected to move in before mid-2025.

Over the past 12 months, median house prices rose by 17.1% in Logan Village and 13.8% in Eagleby, according to PropTrack data.

Stockland Halcyon Communities project director Glenn Nugent said the decision to launch the new communities was driven by the demand for homes in the downsizing sector.

“The decision to launch the two new communities almost simultaneously was driven by the demand for homes that allow buyers to downsize without compromise, settle more quickly, and move in sooner,” Mr Nugent said.

“The turnkey homes at Halcyon Vista and Halcyon Edgebrook make the decision-making process when building a new home more convenient. All homes are fitted with top-of-the-line fixtures and finishes, meaning homeowners can move in, faster.”

The projects aim to incorporate nature throughout, and will provide architect-designed freestanding homes in a secure, gated community.

Both resort-style communities offer a wide range of facilities and amenities including pickleball courts, 25-metre heated magnesium salt pools with spas, saunas, cinemas, libraries, gyms, clubhouses and more.

“Both Halcyon Vista and Halcyon Edgebrook provides those over 50 with the opportunity to become part of a thriving and connected community, while combining the best of the Logan area,” Nugent said.

Homeowners can expect to move into Halcyon Vista by early 2025, while Halcyon Edgebrook is expected to open before mid-2025.
