A glamorous Gold Coast acreage property with a host of celebrity-worthy features has sold to a local buyer for $10.5m.

Named M Estate, a contemporary resort-inspired mansion is the centrepiece of the 1.65ha creekside parcel in the sought-after Tallebudgera Valley.

Guests can arrive via helicopter to enjoy amenities including a 25m pool, tennis court and three-par golf hole before stepping inside the estate’s dual-level Florida-style mansion, elevated by touches of the Mediterranean.

The luxury five-bedroom, seven-bathroom home’s features include a private wellness club with glass mosaic-tiled steam room, wine cellar, snooker room, and four-car showroom-style gallery.

The off-market sale was negotiated by PRD Burleigh agents John Fischer and Shelley Watkins in collaboration with Freddy Tehle, five months after the property passed in at auction following a marketing campaign with another agency.

“We were able to secure a sale to a wonderful local family we’ve had the pleasure of working with before,” Mr Fischer said.

“This remarkable result highlights the strong demand for quality homes in the Tallebudgera and Currumbin Valley areas, reinforcing the value of premium builds in today’s market.”

Built of a full concrete and suspended slab construction and featuring banks of soaring arch windows, the house was designed by owners Gary and Julie McPherson, who drew on their travels to the USA and Europe for inspiration.

Featuring a classic white exterior with natural stone finishes and a Spanish terracotta tiled roof, the grand residence stands out against the green hues of the surrounding natural landscape.

Interiors are minimalist in style, in keeping with the warmer climate, yet utterly luxurious, with only quality materials such as Italian marble, brassware finishes and travertine tiling used throughout.

“The home has many separate entertaining areas, such as the Mediterranean courtyard that adjoins the living room and kitchen,” Mrs McPherson said.

“The other side of the living area opens onto a huge terrace that looks down over the pool and pool house, which is another amazing area.

“The sense of comfort and grandeur is truly special.”

Located on the Gold Coast’s southern Hinterland, the home is set against a rainforest backdrop, yet is only a 15-minute drive from the beach.

“Once you drive through the gates of the estate, you could be anywhere in the world,” Mr McPherson said.

PropTrack data shows the median house price in Tallebudgera Valley is $1.975m.
