Known for hits like “Bounce,” “Fancy,” and “Work,” she gained global fame with her unique blend of pop and hip-hop.

GEORGE CALOMBARIS
Ex-MasterChef judge George Calombaris claimed he lost $750,000 in ambassadorships after footage of him punching a 19-year-old at the 2017 A-League grand final emerged.
The celebrity chef managed to win an appeal in 2018 against the conviction despite the judge finding the incident had been proven.
But the financial damage done by the football incident paled in comparison to what was coming.
His restaurant empire spectacularly collapsed in 2020 with Colambaris’ hospitality company Made Establishment entering voluntary administration off the back of revealtions 515 employees had been underpaid to the tune of $7.8 million.
Colambaris and Made Establishment tried to make things right with staff and government watchdogs by self-reporting the underpayments and organising to repay affected staff but the huge costs coupled with other losses pushed the company over the edge.
Administrators KordaMentha Restructuring announced a month after Made Establishment entered voluntary administration the company and lost $20.7 million in the four years leading up to the collapse.
“We apologise to all our affected team members, past and present – as it is our people that make our restaurants great, and it is our priority to ensure all of our employees feel respected, rewarded and supported in their roles,” Calombaris said in 2019 following the conclusion of the Fair Work Ombudsman’s investigation into the staff underpayments.
The collapse of Made Establishment coincided with Calombaris selling his 5 McMaster Court, Toorak mansion, a four-bedroom French provincial-style home, for $8.8m.
The sale itself also became a source of drama after a caveat was lodged by China-born businessman Ka Ning Cheung on October 14, 2020.
ANDREW O’KEEFE
A once a celebrated figure in Australian television, known for hosting shows like Deal or No Deal, The Rich List, Weekend Sunrise, and The Chase, O’Keefe has receded from the public eye following drug and domestic violence convictions he is now appealing.
Despite being appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 2017 for his contributions to television and charity, these alleged incidents have overshadowed his once-glowing career.
O’Keefe recently sold his four-bedroom, two-bathroom property at 61 Murriverie Rd, North Bondi, for $6.025m.
The home, designed by award-winning Sam Crawford Architects, was described as having a beach house ambience with a country homestead feel.
JARRYD HAYNE
Controversial former NRL star Jarryd Hayne’s ongoing legal costs have continued to deplete his property portfolio despite walking free from jail after having a rape conviction overturned on appeal and prosecutors indicating they will not pursue a fourth trial.
Hayne is now fighting a civil suit against the same accuser after the matter was continually delayed due to ongoing proceedings in the criminal court that ultimately concluded with Hayne’s conviction being quashed.
Among his sales, a two-bedroom, one-bathroom house at 29 Silver St, Marrickville sold for $1.565m in 2021.
The bright, easily maintained residence has a single-level layout and a private outdoor entertaining space, located near Marrickville Road’s eateries and entertainment.

Outdoor features include a wet-edge swimming pool and a pizza oven for alfresco dining.
The home also has a master and guest bedroom both with ensuites, and a third bedroom that also has a guest bathroom.

NATALIE BASSINGTHWAIGHTE
Once a major Australian TV star known for her role in “Neighbours” and lead singer of the pop band Rogue Traders, Bassingthwaighte is amid a media frenzy following her marriage split from Cameron McGlinchey.
The estranged couple are selling their former home in the Byron Bay hinterland, coinciding with Bassingthwaighte’s new relationship with Pip Loth.
At the peak of her career, Bassingthwaighte was also a judge on “The X Factor Australia,” and earned multiple TV Week Logie Award nominations.
She and her ex-husband McGlinchey moved to Byron Bay after selling their Melbourne property for $4m in 2020, purchasing the Byron Bay pad for a $2.15m.

KERRI-ANNE KENNERLEY
Television icon Kerri-Anne Kennerley sold her historic Woollahra home for a staggering $23m, citing its size as the reason for the sale.
The 1870s-era residence, purchased in 1997 with her late husband for $2.49m, set a record price for the suburb.
Friends reported Kennerley’s sentiment at the time, saying, “If I get a silly price, I’ll consider it … it’s too big for me.”
The sale came after Kennerley stepped back from television, following a series of controversies, including comments she made about the rape of Indigenous women and children.
Her departure from Channel 9 in 2011 was also notable when the network opted to bring in Sonia Kruger to host the now-defunct Mornings show and the 2012 Big Brother reboot.

The home featured high ceilings, polished floorboards and retained Art Deco elements, offering a peaceful beachside living experience.
Joel’s band Hillsong United has won 11 Christian Dove awards for hits such as Oceans and Wonder and even released a documentary “Let Hope Rise” in 2016.

He also faced a $5,570 fine for a Twitter outburst against sports journalists.
With 6,932 runs from 161 ODI matches, Warner marked his career with 22 centuries and 33 half-centuries, but remains a polarising figure in the game, with questions around his legacy a hot topic among sports fans.
