Opera singing brothers turned property developers Lucas and Paul Gelsumini are hoping a luxury Bayside townhouse they built strikes a chord with buyers.
The siblings spent more than a decade touring with the music supergroup The Ten Tenors, which has sold more than 3.5 million concert tickets, recorded platinum-selling albums and shared the stage with artists like Andrea Boccelli, Christina Aguilera, Rod Stewart, Lionel Richie and Alanis Morissette.
Paul also served as the group’s touring musical director.

With a family background in property, Lucas pursued tertiary degrees in fields including music and a Master of Business (Property and Finance) before becoming licensed as a domestic builder.
In 2020, the brothers established a firm specialised in developing high-end residences, Odin Property Group.
Their four-bedroom townhouse project at 25b Willis St, Hampton, is for sale with a $4m-$4.4m range.
A finalist in Bayside Council’s 2024 Built Environment awards for Best New Build, the three-level home features a lift, north-facing pool and spa and an outdoor kitchen.
Inside there is Venetian plaster, marble accents, curved walls, oak floors, 3m-high ceilings and a 10m-high entrance void.
Paul said the indoor kitchen’s impressive set-up includes a butler’s pantry, Bora induction stovetop, V Zug appliances and Liebherr fridge.
“My favourite aspect of this amazing home would have to be both the sumptuous and private primary suite located on the second floor featuring a private gallery and balcony… as well as the very luxe sunken lounge with natural jade marble cocktail bar,” Lucas said.
Located just 450m from the beach, other amenities include the a double garage with a Tesla EV charging dock.
Kay & Burton Bayside director Matthew Pillios said downsizers and young families have been among the buyers showing interest in the townhouse with “really grand proportions”.
Expressions of interest close on October 29.
