Brothers Lucas and Paul Gelsumini, who sang with The Ten Tenor, are selling a Hampton townhouse their property development firm built.


Opera singing brothers turned property developers Lucas and Paul Gelsumini are hoping a luxury Bayside townhouse they built strikes a chord with buyers.

The siblings spent more than a decade touring with the music supergroup The Ten Tenors, which has sold more than 3.5 million concert tickets, recorded platinum-selling albums and shared the stage with artists like Andrea Boccelli, Christina Aguilera, Rod Stewart, Lionel Richie and Alanis Morissette.

Paul also served as the group’s touring musical director.

With a family background in property, Lucas pursued tertiary degrees in fields including music and a Master of Business (Property and Finance) before becoming licensed as a domestic builder.

In 2020, the brothers established a firm specialised in developing high-end residences, Odin Property Group.

Their four-bedroom townhouse project at 25b Willis St, Hampton, is for sale with a $4m-$4.4m range.

A finalist in Bayside Council’s 2024 Built Environment awards for Best New Build, the three-level home features a lift, north-facing pool and spa and an outdoor kitchen.

The home is close to cafes, Hampton train station and a 450m walk from the beach.

Paul said the indoor kitchen’s impressive set-up includes a butler’s pantry, Bora induction stovetop, V Zug appliances and Liebherr fridge.

“My favourite aspect of this amazing home would have to be both the sumptuous and private primary suite located on the second floor featuring a private gallery and balcony… as well as the very luxe sunken lounge with natural jade marble cocktail bar,” Lucas said.

Located just 450m from the beach, other amenities include the a double garage with a Tesla EV charging dock.

Kay & Burton Bayside director Matthew Pillios said downsizers and young families have been among the buyers showing interest in the townhouse with “really grand proportions”.
