Christina Hall is no more. Christina Haack is back.

The HGTV star has officially ditched estranged husband Josh Hall‘s surname and returned to her maiden name — a decision she shared with the world while announcing the upcoming premiere of the second season of her hit show “Christina in the Country.” according to Realtor.

A network press release revealed the release date of the new episodes referred to the renovations expert as “Christina Haack,” cementing her status as a single woman and making clear that her marriage to third husband Josh is well and truly over.

Christina and Josh announced in July that they were separating after two years of marriage. Since then they’ve become embroiled in a bitter divorce battle that has played out both in court and on social media.

This week Christina accused Josh of requesting $65,000 per month in spousal support — an allegation he has vehemently denied.

In a recent legal filing, the HGTV star and mother of three not only claimed that Josh had asked for the sky-high amount, she also alleged that he had “just paid over $70,000 to pay off the lease” on a Bentley, according to People magazine.

“Josh Hall is requesting $65,000 per month in spousal support from [Christina] on a 2-year, 9-month marriage, which is outrageous when he is self-supporting,” the document reads, adding that Josh has “no need for spousal support.”

Josh fired back at his ex and her lawyer, Matthew S. DeArmey, in a rare statement posted on his Instagram Stories.

“So no @dearmeylaw filed legal declarations riddled with lies and assumptions,” he began. “Interesting tactic for someone who is a licensed lawyer and took an oath of integrity.

“Pretty sure making provable false statements to a judge is unethical.”

A spokesperson for Christina told People that her lawyer did not wish to comment on the matter — and Christina has not yet responded to Josh’s claims.

However, throughout her divorce proceedings, she has been incredibly vocal about criticising Josh, recently accusing him of attempting to “steal” from her and her children in a blistering attack posted on Instagram Stories.

“Remember when you said you would never steal from me or my kids and you would just be happy in a van with your dog. I guess plans changed,” she wrote.

“All about trying to take everything you can … With your mind on my money and my money on your mind …”

She then doubled down with another statement: “And yes this is ‘stealing’ from me and my family. Asking for an obscene amount of $$ from me for a short-term marriage is factual.”

She also may have more to say on the subject, after leaving Josh a warning: “PS my autobiography is in the works and is gonna be a real page turner.”

Christina also revealed that she has listed her stunning Tennessee farmhouse for $4.5m (A$6.7m), even though Josh had been using the home as his residence after moving out of their shared mansion in Newport Beach.

Season 2 of Christina’s popular series will see her returning to Tennessee, this time setting her sights on Nashville.

“Real estate expert and designer Christina Haack will continue to expand her design business in the South, creating custom dream homes for Nashville-area clients and navigating the hot market with her next flip and first rental property,” the statement said.

“The busy mum of three, author and entrepreneur, who also stars in the SoCal-based hit series Christina on the Coast, will take bigger design risks to bring her clients’ visions to life, transforming dated kitchens, primary suites, basements and entertainment areas into breathtaking spaces with functionality, modern amenities and her signature high-end style.

“In the season premiere, Christina will help empty nesters completely overhaul their home in a historic community near downtown Franklin.”
