Notorious for her appearance on 2017 program “Extreme Diet Hotel” – she referred to herself as a self confessed “diet dominatrix” – which originally aired on British free-to-air network Channel 4.
Grainger then went onto host “Celebrity Fat Fighter” which aired on TLC featuring a bunch of British celebrities.
She has also helped out celebrities including “The Only Way Is Essex” and “Celebrity Big Brother UK” star, Gemma Collins.
She made headlines after charging £1,200 a week to stay at her weight loss hotel, where she fed people cabbage, called them ‘fatty’ and whipped them with birch leaves.
Famed for that very tough love approach on television, Grainger is now ready to part ways with her opulent South West England home.
Grainger originally purchased the mansion in April 2019, just as the weight of her fame from shows like Extreme Diet Hotel still hung in the air.
The home built in the mid-to-late 19th century includes high ceilings and sash windows alongside modern amenities.
The mansion even includes reading tower offering sea vistas.
Inside, the estate’s generous 706 square metres also house a well-equipped gym, games room, and spa.
The expansive kitchen and adjoining dining room, opening to beautifully landscaped terraces via French doors.
According to the property’s listing through agency Strutt & Parker said the estate is perched in an idyllic seaside town.
Just as the town’s location lures beach-loving residents with its beaches, shops, and quaint cafes, Ilfracombe provides the same promise of a fulfilling lifestyle, where modern convenience meets the tranquillity of coastal living.
The lower levels will surprise potential buyers with a transformation of the original cellar into a luxurious suite of recreational facilities – with a gym, games room, and spa.
The home includes two additional reception areas, one with an adjoining study, provide comprehensive space for both leisure and work.
Accommodation is generously proportioned across the second and third floors where most of the bedrooms are located.
The second floor of the mansion features five ensuite bedrooms, while the third floor adds another six-bedrooms, four of which also include an ensuite.
Each room in the estate includes minimalist styling complemented by top-tier fittings, and several rooms open onto their own balconies.
The outside spaces offer as much allure, with the gardens spanning approximately 1300sq m and includes terraced areas perfect for al fresco dining and lush lawns bordered with mature shrubs.
