Sea World head veterinarian and TV star Claire Madden and her partner Ash Moore’s Palm Springs-inspired home is the most popular property going to auction on the Gold Coast this week.
The property was crowned the city’s most viewed auction property on realestate.com.au as well as the third most viewed in Queensland.
Dr Madden, known for her role on Channel 7’s Gold Coast Ocean Rescue, and Mr Moore spent two years transforming their Bundall property into their dream home.
“It will be tough for us to part with because we’ve fallen in love with it,” said Madden, who has a huge online following.
“I will miss sitting in the kitchen and seeing gorgeous pink sunsets out the large servery window, or having a drink at the bar of the open roof terrace with 360 degree views to Sea World, the Surfers Paradise Golf Course and Racecourse and the Hinterland.”
The high-profile couple completed multiple renovations over recent years, turning the original single-storey home into a three-level stunner.
Mr Moore was a tradesman but moved into the building space with his brother at AJL Property Developments.
“We have gone for a Palm Springs feel, with an elegant, neutral palette inside and out, and the streaming sunlight and spectacular views the heroes of the space,” said Dr Madden, who is a finalist in the 2024 Gold Coast Bulletin Woman of the Year awards.
“On the interior walls, we have chosen a beautiful, warm colour called Rice Cake to really elevate the look while, on both the interior and exterior we have incorporated stunning natural sandstone.”
Standout features include a striking pink, double entrance door, indoor/outdoor kitchen, cinema, wine cellar, pool, large entertainment area and rooftop terrace.

Agent Nick Baxter, of Ray White Surfers Paradise, said he expects the property to be highly sought after not only because of its position but because of the on-trend design.
“From multiple outdoor entertaining areas, including a private pool space with high quality white honed concrete flooring, to beautifully sleek, curved gyprock walls on the interior, feature stone walls, stunning natural travertine tiles on the terrace and the highly popular crazy paving on the exterior of the property, Claire and Ash have completed a renovation that really delivers a new house for the discerning buyer,” Mr Baxter said.
“It has the wow factor from every angle, whether you’re in the expansive gourmet kitchen enjoying the skyline views, or climbing the powder-coated spiral staircase to the rooftop to enjoy an even more spectacular outlook over the city and hinterland.”
Ray White Surfers Paradise chairman Andrew Bell said it had only been in recent years that buyers had realised what a fabulous suburb Bundall was to live in, with some prime residential real estate.
“It is one of those suburbs that is not only minutes from the beach but provides all the facilities people want, from schools to shopping to some of the best parks on the Gold Coast, within easy distance,” he said.
“It’s only just getting the recognition it deserves and, at the moment, still providing good value for money.
“But once more people start to understand its selling points, you can expect prizes to escalate dramatically.”
PropTrack data shows the median house price in Bundall is $2.25m, up 21.6 per cent over 12 months.
The property at 15 Richmond Ave, Bundall will go to auction on October 26.
