As the countdown to Halloween begins, thousands of trick or treaters are set to descend upon streets across the country this week as they embrace the spirit of the spooky celebration.

Halloween has increasingly gained popularity in Australia in recent years, with copious amounts of Australian homes getting into the spirit by adorning their abodes in ghoulish, spooky and scary decorations.
