This latest licence agreement builds on a collaboration agreement signed by the two parties in August 2022 laying the groundwork for future joint project development and initial testing of their combined technologies, with successful test results and demonstration of commercial viability leading to the new association.
My Glass Projects’ founder and managing director Mr Sunil Sharda said that the new partnership looks to be an important milestone for the company which will allow MGP to leverage its expertise in heated glazing technology with ClearVue’s solar photovoltaic solutions.
He also said the opportunity is enhanced by the fact that ClearVue’s solar façade integrates with standard building curtain-wall and framing systems which will allow MGP to use ClearVue’s Solar Vision glass, solar cladding, and solar spandrels for both new build and retrofit projects.
