Reality television judge Marty Fox and wife Charlotte have sold their Mornington Peninsula property in less than two months on the market..

In 2023, the well-known real estate agent joined The Block as a judge, and is also chief executive officer of the Whitefox Australian and New Zealand agencies, which he co-founded alongside Charlotte.

The couple listed a house at 361 Arthurs Seat Rd, Red Hill, in September, and have now sold it for $2.05m

Records show they bought the circa-1950s cottage for $1.55m in August 2021.

They transformed the residence into a part-time retreat while living in Melbourne.

Mr Fox likened the house to a mullet, describing the three-bedroom home, featuring an outdoor kitchen, heated pool and self-contained studio with a kitchenette to the Herald Sun as a “cottage out the front and party out the back”.

An in-ground trampoline and pear trees are part of the 1548sq m garden.

Inside, the kitchen is fitted with an island bench, marble bench tops, French blue cabinetry and a butler’s pantry.

Whitefox Real Estate’s Deb Merchan said plenty of buyers came through the door during the expressions of interest campaign.

“We had a lot of people coming down from the city, predominantly bayside and the inner city,” Ms Merchan said.

The buyers — a Toorak-based couple — plan to use the house as a retreat and also live there some of the time.

Ms Merchan said buyers had particularly loved the home’s back room and pool, and how the renovation had combined modern details with period features like cornices.

The Foxes also sold their Elsternwick house for $3.31m in September amid plans to move to Toorak.

One of Mr Fox’s current listings is an Elsternwick pad owned by celebrity couple Sam and Snezana Wood, who found love on The Bachelor Australia’s 2015 season.

Their renovated Victorian-era house, which is for sale off-market, features a 15m-long long lap pool, gym and kitchen decked in Italian marble.

Whitefox’s Lana Samuels and Michael Derham also have the listing.

Another Block personality, WBP Group chairman Greville Pabst, has put his home on the market.

Mr Pabst, a buyers advocate and adviser who has appeared on several seasons of the show, is farewelling his four-bedroom house at 31 Langridge St, Middle Park.

Priced at $5.8m-$6.2m, the three-level, Victorian-inspired residence from award-winning builder Blu Seven features a kitchen fitted with V-Zug appliances, an integrated Liebherr fridge and freezer and a butler’s pantry.

The main bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite with floor heating, while a wall of steel-framed glass lets sunlight into the rear open-plan living and dining domain area.

Outdoors, there are a self-cleaning heated pool and al fresco dining terrace complete with a built-in barbecue.

Belle Property Brighton director Sam Inan said his favourite part of the house was the basement entertaining domain, boasting a cocktail bar, home theatre, powder room and laundry.

“It’s got an amazing underground area,” Mr Inan said.

“My second-favourite part of the home is probably the back garden, it’s so low maintenance but so green.”

Other features include an office, American oak floors, hydronic heating, airconditioning, home automation, double glazing, automatic gates and a six-star energy efficiency rating.

Mr Pabst said he and his wife were selling now that their respective children had grown up and moved out.

“It’s on the corner of Park Rd, and it’s really cleverly-designed and has a lot of natural light, we’re really enjoyed living here but it’s just too big for us now,” he said.

He and that the two living areas made it especially suited to families and downsizers.

“I think the best thing about the home is its location,” Mr Pabst said.

“At one of the end it’s 100m from the beach and you walk 150m the other way and you’re at Albert Park Lake,” he said.

The home is also conveniently close to the Middle Park Village, schools and the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, and for weekend shopping at South Melbourne Market.
