TV star Karl Stefanovic’s stunning Noosa holiday home at the centre of a frightening search for his missing child, rents out at $1,000 a night now after being pulled off the market twice.
The Stefanovics have tried unsuccessfully to sell the home twice since buying it four years ago, and it was also drawn in to a nasty blow-up between the TV star and ex cricketer Michael Clarke during the 2023 holiday season – with the latest scare sparking rumours they may now be ready to flick it completely.

The Daily Telegraph reported that the home was ground zero in the search for his four-year-old daughter Harper whom no one could find Wednesday afternoon – with police called in, neighbours joining the search and the Polair chopper deployed to find the child.
The child was later found asleep “curled up asleep underneath a chair where no one could possibly have hidden” Mr Stefanovic said.
The triple storey home is a popular holiday listing in one of Sunshine Beach’s most expensive streets Seaview Avenue, 200 metres from public access to a walkway to the area’s popular dog beach as well as the Noosa National Park.
In peak holiday season of Noosa’s heyday, the home could apparently fetch as high as $3,700 a night in short term rent.
The sprawling five bedroom, five bathroom holiday home has 544sq m under roof, bigger floor space than the 506sq m block it sits on, with a 7.8m heated pool for all seasons, indoor and outdoor open plan living zones, a BBQ area, and private balconies to take in the view.
Mr Stefanovic and wife Jasmine bought the property for $3.6m in January 2020, and put it through a major renovation designed by Mrs Stefanovic’s sister Jade Yarbrough.
The couple reluctantly put the home on the market for auction in 2022, due to time constraints preventing them from using it as often as they would have liked. They reportedly spent just five weeks there in the first two and half years that they owned it.
When it failed to sell at auction in March 2022, the home was then listed for private treaty sale at $7.5m, but then pulled off the market and put up into the holiday rental pool.
The galley style kitchen had a 4m island bench and “all the bells and whistles even a celebrity chef such as Jamie Oliver would love”.
Noosa Beach Abodes manages the property called Villa Isabelle for the Stefanovics, which it lists for rent from $1,000 a night. The holiday listing says “this stunning home is spread over three levels and is set up for guests to create a memorable getaway – plus pet friendly”.

“The middle level offers open plan kitchen, dining and large living area with large glass sliding doors allowing the beautiful sea breezes in, and all flowing onto outdoor entertaining area and pool.”
There are two bedrooms in the middle level with ensuites and balconies, and a further two on the upper level including one with a king bed, and another with two singles as an option for kids and private ensuites.
A fun bunk room is on the ground floor with a mural wall that’s said to be perfect for teenagers, with its own TV room attached. The undercover garage is also on this entrance level, the listing said.
“Villa Isabelle is the perfect home to retreat and recharge, as guests forget their worries and enjoy time away with loved ones.”
