It serves 'US-Asian BBQ' and it's one of Sydney's hottest bar/eating halls. This place was opened by the guys behind The Forresters and Queenies (as well as The Norfolk, The Abercrombie and The Carrington), so you just know it's gonna be good. Santa Barbara scores instant points for its location — it's directly under the famous Coke sign in Kings Cross. There's a cool neon sign out the front, and once you're inside, you'll be greeted by a mechanical bear and so many Chinese/American bits and pieces, it's like these guys spent days sniping all the good stuff on Ebay. They also have those cute light-up food display photos, like in Chinatown — especially useful for choosing meals when it's 2 in the morning and you're vision is blurry.
For five years now, THE FADERS, aka Milly Gattegno (Milly) and Suhana Lye (Sui) have been bringing the ruckus; DJ-ing at the hottest clubs, international festivals and VIP events, supporting the likes of N.E.R.D and Mickey Avalon, and gaining notoriety for their dance floor-filling skills.
