Lewis in the Tigers coach career

Lewis in the Tigers coach career just like the Tigers' 2017 season, there are peaks and troughs. Although he failed to bring any playoff victory for the Tigers, Lewis is still the team's highest winning coach in history. He is currently 125-122-3 in the Tigers and leads the team seven times in the playoffs.

Since the United League in 1970, Lewis and Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Madden Mobile Coins Fame coach Chuck Noel has been the only coach in history to have been on the team for more than 12 consecutive years and never appeared on the Super Bowl.

In 2003, when he was named manager of the Tigers, his main goal was to turn the Tigers into a team of the AP. Before he joined the team, the Tigers have a winning percentage of less than 50% for 12 consecutive seasons. In his coaching, the team played 8 wins and 8 losses record for two consecutive years, and in the 2005 season after playing 11 wins and 5 losses, won the North American Champion, and then re-enter after 15 years Playoffs.
