Grinding Gear Games is determined to release Ascendancy, POE Trade ’s fourth expansion, sometime in early 2016 therefore we recently had the pleasure of resting with GGG’s Chris Wilson to get a tour in the expansion’s key features.
Chris began by setting the scene that has a bit in the lore behind the development. Hundreds of years ago lived an emperor named Izaro. This emperor struggled finding a worthy successor to his crown, so he developed a gauntlet of six trap-filled trials. Those who succeeded in completing the trials could then enter a labyrinth he created using the victor with the labyrinth succeeding Izaro for the throne.
