National furniture and homewares retailer, Oz Design Furniture, has agreed terms on the lease of a new showroom facility at Narre Warren in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs in a deal brokered by Savills Executive Keith Kooloos with Faceys Director Josh Kendall.

Located opposite the iconic Fountain Gate Shopping Centre, the Unit 8, 44 Victor Crescent property, comprises a 1000 square metre retail space with access to common customer parking areas.

The former Dulux store is located within the Fountain Gate Super Centre bulky goods precinct which is home to several other national tenants including Spotlight, Good Guys and Barbeques Galore.

According to Mr Kooloos, the property was let on a six year term with a six year option. The rental was not disclosed, however rents in the precinct are in the low $200s per square metre.

Mr Kooloos said Oz Design was attracted to what was a well-designed showroom/retail precinct with very good road access, the location opposite Fountain Gate Shopping Centre - the largest regional shopping centre in the south-eastern growth corridor – and the exceptional catchment area within one of Melbourne’s fastest growing regions.

The new tenancy brings the number of Oz Design showrooms to 29 across the country.

The lessor is a Melbourne based investor.
