Officers discovered the bodies of the two in a home in the coastal suburb of Glenelg North about 11pm.

They were reportedly called to the address to carry out a welfare check.

The street has been cordoned off as police set up a crime scene around the property.

Police are not searching for anyone else in relation to the incident.
