POLICE investigating last week’s terror attack in Brighton have charged a second man in relation to the guns Yacqub Khayre used in the siege.
The Joint Counter Terrorism Team, made up of Victoria Police and Australian Federal Police officers, charged a 25-year-old Gladstone Park man with a range of offences.
It is alleged he supplied a firearm used in the incident last week.

Khayre murdered Kai Hao, also known as Nick, and took a female escort hostage at the Buckingham Serviced Apartments last Monday.
Khayre was killed by Special Operations Group officers when he began shooting at police.
Three officers were injured in the exchange.
The Gladstone Park man has been charged with being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, possessing ammunition without a licence or permit, being an unlicensed dealer of a Category A firearm and committing an indictable offence whilst on bail.
He has been remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on June 14.
On Friday police carried out a series of raids across Melbourne as they investigate where Khayre got his two guns from.
On Saturday Kane Dalrymple, who has no connections to Islamic State or terrorism, appeared at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
He faces four charges including trading guns without a licence.
