That’s the situation an anonymous American bride recently found herself in — and her steps towards revenge were recorded via her other bridesmaid (aka not the sh*tty one) in a series of epic live tweets.

Let’s just say that for someone wanting “to keep the drama off Twitter”, there was a lot of angry detail to follow.

We love that the jilted bride went through with the party, rallying friends and family around her.

If she’d been alone, we hate to think how she’d have reacted to this bombshell.

The bridesmaid then tweeted all the bride managed to tweet out was “I didn’t dodge a bullet, I dodged a f**king atomic bomb”.

Unsurprisingly, the original bride didn’t want to let her cheating would-be husband off the hook that easily.

But despite the bride’s epic revenge, the bridesmaid decided to set the record straight on a number of things, letting her Twitter fans know the groom would have to deal with his mum.

While we may never know a proper “end” to the drama, we are told that while the cheating groom is off marrying someone else, the bride is in the best place possible: surrounded by loved ones who are “fiercely loving on her”.

As they say, bad times are best spent in good company — and that concludes this car crash of a would-be wedding.
