Police are investigating a series of gunshots fired into a luxury sports car business in Richmond – a business previously investigated for taking big security deposits from customers and failing to return them.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said it was believed several rounds of shots were fired into Dream Drives Melbourne in Burnley Street about 11.30pm on Friday.

It is believed about nine bullets were shot into the front window of the business.
The spokeswoman said evidence of the shooting was noticed by a passer-by who alerted police about 8.30am on Saturday.
No injuries were reported in the shooting. Police said the investigation was ongoing.
The shooting comes after the Australian Investments and Security Commission and NSW Fair Trading investigated six different car rental companies, including the Victorian Dream Drives Melbourne branch, in 2015.
Three of the companies investigated, including the Dream Drives branch in Sydney, entered into liquidation.
It was believed people who had used the luxury car rental services were owed almost $2.5 million, with three major banks pursuing the entities on behalf of customers.
At the time of the investigation, it was reported by the ABC that the National Australia Bank was owed nearly $1.4 million, Commonwealth Bank was owed $418,000, and Westpac was owed about $550,000.
Fairfax Media has sought comment from Victoria Police on whether it was probing if the shooting was linked to to ASIC investigation and is awaiting a response.
