UberEats driver response gets a good laugh

THE sassy response an UberEats courier gave to his customer divided the internet after it went earlier this week viral.

After receiving a call from a strange number, the customer sent a message asking who it belonged to and was advised it was the delivery driver from UberEats.

The customer asked if the courier was at the main entrance of his residence, which was when he was met with the cheeky reply.

“No I’m on top of the building, I just landed my helicopter,” he replied. “Yes I am at the main entrance.”

After being posted on Twitter on Tuesday, the message exchange has been retweeted 128,000 times and has received over 438,000 likes.

However, the replies on the thread are where things start to get interesting, with many divided over the exchange.

Many people saw the humour in the situation and had nothing but praise for the quick-witted delivery driver.

While others felt the question was valid and the response was not professional.

After the Tweet gained traction, the Uber Support Twitter handle replied, obviously unimpressed.

“That’s definitely not OK,” the company wrote, before asking the Twitter user to Direct Message an email address to escalate the issue further.

It’s unknown if the customer made an official complaint.
