"I’m a Raider at the moment, if that’s what my future is - to be a Raider - well hopefully it is," Boyd said.

"There is just a lot of talk happening, no one really knows what is happening. I just had to go out there and play well for my club and I thought I did alright [on Saturday].

"That will sort itself out, whatever happens. I’m happy with whatever I do so I just want to concentrate on my footy this year and play well for Canberra, and if that’s what I’m going to do that’s what it will be."

Ricky Stuart admits the Raiders can't compete with big money offers like the one the Titans have reportedly tabled for Boyd, and if they try to he "won't have a football team".

Stuart says the Raiders are not in a place to match the "astronomical" figures being offered for the likes of Boyd and Junior Paulo, who is set to return to the Parramatta Eels on a four-year deal worth almost $3 million.

While they might be wearing different shades of blue and yellow next year, Boyd says the focus for himself and Paulo is to leave a path of destruction in lime green.

Boyd was immense in Canberra's win over the Titans and Stuart has found a combination that can lay a solid platform for the Green Machine's strike power on the edges.

"It adds more off the bench, one of us starts and one of us comes off the bench. You’ve got another big body coming off the bench and it just helps get you forward again and get you on the front foot," Boyd said.

"I think it is working pretty well at the moment and like I said before, if that’s what my role is, coming off the bench this year, then that’s what I have got to do. I’ve just got to do it as best as I can.

"I love starting obviously, there is nothing better. But I’ve just got to do what I’m asked to do, coming off the bench, if that’s what it is then I’ve got to perform well and I need to bring an impact.

"I thought Nams [Dunamis Lui] and I have been doing a pretty good job of late over the past couple of weeks. If we can keep bringing that, it really helps the boys get back on the front foot after our middles have started well and performed well.

"If we can be good in defence and do everything we talk about - start strong, start fast, and just be good in the middle with our defence - it just helps our edges out so much and makes the rest of the game a lot easier."
