PANORAMIC views over the Adelaide Hills and a sense of tranquillity attracted vendor Brohnwyn Fraser to a Bridgewater home two years ago.

Those ever-changing views have been her favourite feature of the home and something she will really miss when she sells.

“That view is incredible and it changes all the time,” Ms Fraser says.

“You look out one morning and the gully might be filled with mist so it looks like you’re looking out to sea, and other days you can see the sun coming up over in the east, but the best thing is it’s your view because it’s private, and there’s always a ton of birdlife in the backyard.

“Being open-plan living, you can see the view from every part of the living area.”

The home has three bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen, dining and meals area and a family bathroom with a shower, toilet and vanity unit.

“It’s a very easy home to live in and as soon as you walk in the door, it just feels comfortable and feels like you’re home,” Ms Fraser says.

Ms Fraser says the home’s open-plan nature, and the extensive landscaped garden she has spent a good many hours improving, made it a great entertainer.

“It’s fantastic for entertaining and, because it’s all open, you can chat away while you’re cooking and preparing food,” Ms Fraser says.

“It spills outside really nicely and there’s lighting on every level out there, so you can really continue the party out into the garden.

“On a summer’s evening, you’re looking out to a whole outside/inside space with a fantastic view, it’s a real lifestyle property.”

Ms Fraser says the home’s location is a strong drawcard and has offered her easy access to everything she needs and loves.

“Bridgewater’s great,” she says.

“You’re 20 minutes from the city and close to wineries and Hahndorf and Stirling, there are good cafes, and restaurants and great schools and great dog walking parks nearby, so it’s all on your doorstep,” Ms Fraser says.

“The city’s there for convenience, but everything is here within five or 10 minutes.”

Ms Fraser says she’ll miss the home, but is excited to give someone else the opportunity to enjoy it.

“Whoever lives here will love it – it’s a beautiful lifestyle, and when you look out over that view you forget everything else that’s going on because this is just your own little sanctuary.”
